Hi again. I didn't tell any of you guys the first time 'cause I thought it might suck, but I'm doing it again. I will be performing 2 songs from my Pop Opera, The Brass Ring at Bongo Java After Hours Theater along with the rest of the Bongo cast in a variety of skits, comedy routines, musical numbers, etc. Last time was surprisingly the best time I've had at a show in a long time. Not only was it fun to perform but it was fun to watch. Kim performed a couple songs - 2 on the piano and one with her husband (and our former bassist) on acoustic bass.
Here's something funny: I sang lead vocal for a Wendy's radio commercial that looks like it's going to get picked up nationally. I don't want to jinx it though... If you hear someone sounding a LOT like Kate Pearson (they wanted a B-52's sound) singing "Late Night With Dave And Amanda" you'll know it happened :-).
We had our first unofficial Couch Exchangers stay at our new place last weekend. It was fun getting to know other musicians from all the way on the other side of the country (Portland, OR). Hello to Patricia and Annie!
I almost forgot to mention when the Bongo show will happen again - May 7, 8:00PM. If you're in Nashville be there or be square.

I agree; Helen's accent rnidems me of home. I like California, but I miss Southern accents.David: I haven't read the book, but I found this great Internet tool to help answer questions. It's called . There is an excerpt of Vincent's book that includes the terms "white trash" and "trailer trash".Since the elitist liberals at the New York Times did not introduce the term in the context of this book, you don't have to be offended by it.
That takes us up to
