Today I'm going in the studio to start three new songs, "Turn Up The Radio," "Good Friend," and "The Secret" with Void. My long time friend, Ben, who drummed in my very first band, Merry Madness, is going to be laying down the beat since we still don't have a steady (no pun intended) drummer. Ben's really really really good so it will take no time at all. Once he's done I'm going to lay down my guitar parts and hopefully get to some vocals.
When we're done tomorrow I'm going to give Kim and Emmy copies so they can make up their parts and go in when it's convenient. We've never approached a recording this way so hopefully it will work out. I have a feeling it's going to be even better and we will have found a new way to do things.
Tony's coming tomorrow to start work on an EPK for us. This is the second EPK that has been started for us. I hope this one actually gets finished all the way to the editing! Keep your fingers crosses. Tony may be doing a video for Ruby Fever for us too. We'll see.
I've got to go to bed now. I have to get up early! I band leader's work is never done.
